With the Internet it is now possible to share views with others that would have previously not been possible. Views that you can interactively control, looking in whatever direction you want. Link a few of these views together into a tour and you can be walking around a place, as if you were really there.

As with everything nowadays, image is everything. Why limit people to the views that you choose, instead present a panorama and let people look at what they want.
