Over the May bank holiday weekend, 17 of Malvern's wells, springs, troughs and spouts were decorated and entered into the 2003 well dressing competition organised by the Malvern Spa Association. They were decorated during the daytime on Friday 2nd May and then judged in the evening. They then were left decorated for the rest of the Bank Holiday weekend for everyone to see. These 17 panoramas were taken during the Saturday morning.

The results of the competition were as follows,

• 1st - Evendine
• 2nd - West Malvern Tap
• 3rd - Malvhina
• 4th - Jubilee Fountain
